FRENCH POLYNESIA, PARADISE - PART TWO - MOOREA AND SHARK TALES The first time that I have stepped on this part of this world was at the beginning of 2015. The only information I knew is that it is beautiful as per the description of an ex-boyfriend that used to work on a cruise ship. He used to tell me these stories about French Polynesian islands just to brag about the fact that he has been there. But he failed in his descriptions as these islands are not just beautiful, are breathtaking. Once you get here and visit you just do not want to go back home. FRENCH POLYNESIA, PARADISE - BORA BORA Since there are so many islands I am going to start with the most famous island of them all. Bora Bora is definitely breathtaking. To brag, I am going to say that I have been so many times, but always feels like first time. There is always something new to discover. Also you must visit one of the local small factories where you see how the beach pareos are made. Buying one from the factory will be not more than 15$ which is a real bargain. One other must to buy from here is the Monoi Oil, best oil for skin. No doubt that if you are an adventurer you n...

Went on a tour as it was part of the job, dressed in uniform, very uncomfortable wear for that heat. But I had no choice, follow the company rules. Had my comfortable shoes and a bottle of water and let's go! I walked for miles and miles, it was like never-ending, early morning, full of tourists, camels, and horses as this was the local transportation. But NO, i am young and since I never go to the gym, this is a good occasion to do some movement. After an hour of walking, seemed though like at least 3 with the heat we started having these red stone walls, an impressive canyon, words are not enough to describe. Not even the pictures I took do justice to the beauty. And then after another hour or so there it was! Petra! WOW! The tour duration was about 10 hours, my body was hurting and needed desperately a cold shower, but what a place! ...
