WHO AM I?

I was a girl with big dreams, raised in a small town called Brasov, a community where everyone knew everybody. Charming town, medieval architecture, a stroll on one of the main walking streets for me was a journey, always discovering something new.  What a great feeling to see your home town with the feeling that you are always a tourist.

GENESIS

But there was always something missing, the feeling was like a continuous thirst even though you keep drinking water. Well, water was not enough. That's when I have decided to change my life, my job and consequently my lifestyle. And my journey begun, a lifetime dream that  never hoped will come true. Took me a lot to realize that my new life wasn't daydreaming but that was the new ME. Everything changed in my destiny, little that I knew then that on my first travels I will meet my best friend, my heart, my lover, my partner in adventures and laughs, my husband Kevin. And now I am a woman, stepped on all 7 continents and still never counted how many countries I have seen as long as my journey just begun.

From all the places that I have seen, truly Brasov, Romania, my home town is still the most beautiful places in the world. And trust me when I say, the world is big :)

WHY TO READ AND FOLLOW?
The reason of this blog is to share with you the beauty of this earth, the beauty of people and places, the world seen through my eyes. And nevertheless to help anyone who is in need and hunger to travel with the best tips, information and suggestions to travel in style with a low budget.

FRENCH POLYNESIA, PARADISE - PART THREE - NUKU HIVA Visiting this beautiful volcanic island first thought is to find those so much disputed cannibals. Took a jeep ride, but nothing like the one I had in Moorea. The only way of touring the island is with local jeeps, the island is small and has limited resources for tourism, which is great by the way, so the only transportation on the island is using the jeeps owned by the locals. So we drove up the top of the island, spectacular views as only French Polynesia can offer to the hungry traveler's eyes such as mine. Happy to be in this so remote place but where are the cannibals? I have read so many stories about them, the last incident of cannibalism was registered in 2011, which was only 4 years back from the date I have been there. Bora Bora and French Polynesia

FRENCH POLYNESIA, PARADISE - BORA BORA Since there are so many islands I am going to start with the most famous island of them all. Bora Bora is definitely breathtaking. To brag, I am going to say that I have been so many times, but always feels like first time. There is always something new to discover. Adăugați o legendă The first thing that you need to do is take a deep breath, sunscreen at least 50 SPF to be safe and not red and sunburned as an English tourist on any of the world's beaches LOL! Love this joke as my husband is English. And because I have seen it so many times! You have to try the local fruits! Especially the pineapple, it is so sweet and juicy, best ever! Also you must visit one of the local small factories where you see how the beach pareos are made. Buying one from the factory will be not more than 15$ which is a real bargain.
